Privacy policy
GreenZ processes the minimum data needed to run your farm in the app. This page says which data, why, for how long, and how you stay in control.

1. Who is responsible
The data controller is shiraZzZu, publisher of GreenZ (see the legal notice). For any question about your data: contact.greenzzz@gmail.com.
GreenZ is built in Madagascar and relies on Law No. 2014-038 on the protection of personal data. People living in the European Union also have the rights provided by the GDPR.
2. The data we process

We collect no browsing data for advertising purposes and we never sell data.
3. Third-party services that receive data
- AI agents: your questions, the agronomic context of your farm (crops, plots, alerts) and diagnosis photos are sent to the model providers Groq, Google (Gemini) and Hugging Face, depending on availability. Your identity (name, e-mail) is not sent to them.
- Weather: your farm’s locality is sent to Open-Meteo (an open service, no account) to get forecasts.
- Sign in with Google: if you choose it, Google confirms your e-mail address and name to us. We receive neither your Google password nor access to your other Google data.
- E-mail and WhatsApp: transactional messages (address confirmation, password reset, morning brief if you enable it) go through a sending provider. No newsletter without your consent.
Reference agronomy sheets come from open sources (CIRAD Agritrop, FAO TECA, Infonet-Biovision, AGROVOC) and contain no personal data.

An automatic purge applies these periods every night.
5. Your rights
- Access and portability: on written request to the contact address below, we deliver within 30 days a JSON file of everything the platform knows about you.
- Rectification: your profile and farm data can be edited at any time in the app.
- Erasure: on written request, we delete your account within 30 days. Your identity is anonymised; operations involving a third party (orders, sales, entries) stay attached to a nameless identifier, as accounting law requires.
- Objection and restriction: write to us. We answer within 30 days.
- Complaint: you may contact the Malagasy data protection authority (CMIL) or, for EU residents, your national authority.
6. Cookies and local storage
GreenZ sets no tracking or analytics cookie. Your browser only keeps, in local storage, your session tokens, your theme (light or dark), your motion preference and your language. If you untick “Stay signed in”, the session disappears when the tab is closed.
7. Security
- Encrypted transport (HTTPS), passwords hashed with bcrypt, short-lived session tokens with rotation.
- Optional second factor by mobile number or Google account.
- Strict isolation between organisations: each farm has its own database schema.
- Daily backups encrypted at rest and regular restore tests.
8. Minors
GreenZ is for professionals. The service is not intended for people under 16.
9. Changes
Any substantial change to this policy will be announced in the app at least 15 days before it takes effect.
